(1) This Saturday evening (8:30pm-11:30pm), Geoff will be playing his guitar - exs will also be showing the rugby in the afternoonMeal and a Pint nights - every Thursday until October 7-10pm - a pint of lager and a meal (sometimes fish & chips, sometimes curry), all for just Euro 7.00 (ML3.00) - (*Pint can be exchanged for 1 glass of house red/white wine at same cost, Guinness will be charged at Euro1.16 extra ML0.50). 10% donated to Gozo SPCA.

SALSA dance lessons
at Bo Jangles Bar, Marsalforn will begin on Wednesday 28th May and run for the following 10 Wednesdays for a beginner course - lessons start at 8.30pm and there will be 1 hour lesson and 1 hour freestyle dancing all for the cost of Euro 6 per lesson. If anyone is interested they can call Shelagh on 99031879 or email shelaghharland@hotmail.com to reserve a place otherwise anyone is welcome to turn up and watch before trying it! A great way to keep fit and have fun at the same time!!

VICTORIA SCOUT GROUP DINNER - Enjoy Summer in the Garden. Dinner to be held at the Villa Rundle On Saturday 12th July 2008 at 7.30pm. 'Gozo – Malta Air Link - The Gozo Business Chamber is organising a public meeting to further discuss the topic of the Gozo – Malta Air Link. This will be held on Tuesday, 1st July 2008, at the Grand Hotel, Mgarr, at 7.30 p.m. During the meeting, an illustrated presentation will be made by Mr Roy S. Perry with updated information about alternative suggestions, surveys, recent history and public opinion resulting from his recent research on the matter.'

Gozo SPCA FLAG WEEK - subject to final confirmation from Gozo Ferries, our Annual Flag Week is planned from Thursday 17th to Wednesday 23rd July 2008.
As last year, we will be focussing primarily on the ferries. In order to achieve our target of another record this year, we appeal to you to offer to join the team of volunteers to collect with our special Gozo SPCA Collection boxes. Please consider if you could spare a few hours on a day or two (or more…?) to help us. I know we have said it before, but to would-be-collectors, it is actually very good fun, and you are always with another person who will guide and support you if it is your first time. Please think about it and phone Kate on 21562930 or 99226637 or email katencharles@waldonet.net.mt We look forward to hearing from both experienced and new volunteers. We desperately need your support and help. If you can think of any new venues for collecting boxes that information would be useful too.

Euros 13 (Lm 5.58) per person for a two course meal, with a glass of wine, followed by a film. Meal to start at 7:00 - 7:15 pm, film at 8:15 pm – meet in the bar of The Grand Hotel beforehand at 6:30 pm onwards. If you would like to come for the meal only please feel free to book, as the restriction on numbers refers to the cinema only.
